of California. Please be sure to read (and if you have speakers, listen to)
the introduction before you begin.

WRITE UP:
As you are following the directions for creating a budget, please have one
person take notes on...
1. THREE spending decisions and at least ONE revenue decisions.
2. In your notes please address the following questions: Which option did
you choose? Why did you choose that option? What are the pros and cons of
that choice and the implications (the web site will have a linnk to show you
pros and cons and implications). Finally, were you able to balance your
budget? What was your budget surplus or deficit (if you ran either a surplus
or deficit)? Is a budget deficit important? Why or why not?

At the end of the activity, you will be presented with a summary of your
budget choices and spending and revenue charts. Please print your choices,

This website was created by a non-profit organization so that California
