How can I get a good grade in your class?

What if I'm absent on the day an assignment is due?
For excused absences, you have one day per day absent to make up the work. For unexcused absences (cuts), you may not make up the work and earn a zero.Back to Top
Periodically, but you cannot bring a failing grade to a passing grade with extra credit. What's most important is to do all assigned work. Go to "Documents" and click on "Feature Films" for a description of an extra- credit assignment.Back to Top
Do you assign detention for tardies?
Yes. If you come to class late three times, you go to the detention center at lunch or afterschool.Back to Top

Do you give a lot of homework?
Expect homework each day. Some assignments will require intense concentration and effort over days; others will be short assignments to turn in the next day.Back to Top
Do I have to bring my textbook to class everyday?
No. Keep your book at home for use there. I will give you advanced notice if you need to bring your books to class.Back to Top
