Meet The Teachers

Hello, my name is Ms. Patterson. This is my first year at Kings River High and I am very excited about the year. I am the social science teacher and look forward to hearing the opinions and thoughts of the Kings River students.  I graduated from Fresno Pacific University and received my credential there as well.

Mr. Mark Rocha is the man behind the great BBQs at Kings River. He teaches Science, Biology, and Health classes in Room 6.

Hello! My name is Joyce Simpson and I am a returning veteran teacher at Kings River High School teaching Language Arts, and Art. We are very proud to have achieved a very significant hike in our A.P.I. scores and predict even more progress this year. This year will also prove to be very exciting due to my being a Support Provider for two new teachers: Carly Patterson - Social Science, and Veronica Andrade - Mathematics. It is also my pleasure to coach the Monarchs for the third year in intramural volleyball. Our new Directed Studies class tuaght by all teahcers during fourth period is sure to drive our PLC's to insure all students can move forward in their learning. "Every Child, Whatever It Takes."
