"If I could suggest one thing to all young adults, it would be: go into a
military service where you can get out of the States, see other cultures
and get some experience before you decide what you're going to do with
the rest of your life. Because if you judge everything by what you see on
TV or read in the newspaper, you're never going to have a true
understanding of what's out there available to you."
