What Can My Child Practice Over Vacation?

Winter Vacation is almost here! Many parents ask for extra work for their child(ren) over the vacation to practice. While we want you to enjoy time with family - I would like to encourage you to make time for your child each day to READ and practice MATH facts. Your child's teacher can provide you with the list of problems your child can be working on. Being fast at knowing your math facts, whether it is addition, subtraction, multiplication or division is very important. Additionally, your child can benefit from some quiet time each day to read. Your child can be reading a book from school, a newspaper, a recipe to help you cook....the options are endless. I bet you've heard "practice makes perfect", and in the case of reading and math facts, it really does!

Message from the Principal

I want to wish all of the Lincoln community a safe and joyful holiday season. It's been a fantastic fall! It is my pleasure to support the students of Lincoln as they grow academically and mature socially. Additionally, its been great to see so many parents at school events this fall: sports on Fridays, movie night, Toyland Parade and the Anti-Bullying Family Night! Thank you for your support and for sharing your children with us each and every day.

Family Night - Anti Bullying Kick Off What a fantastic turnout we had for our Family Night - Anti-Bullying Campaign! We had a full cafeteria of families to hear about how we are making a stand against bullies and how we are teaching children to help when they see a bully on campus. Thank you to the Lincoln Behavior Team for putting together a successful event!
