Co-curricular Frenzy!

February is a busy month. Boys and Girls basketball season continues and our track coach is getting ready to start spring track. 18 students participated in our school Spelling Bee and groups of students are putting the finishing touches on their routines for our school lip sync. And that's not all - students in all grades work this month to conduct science fair projects and begin to prepare oral performances for the Fresno State Peach Blossom Festival. These activities are a great compliment to the daily instruction and offer students an opportunity to develop their creative side! Thanks to the staff and after school program leaders for making all these opportunities possible!

Message from the Principal

Our focus in 2010 continues to be to provide a safe and successful environment for each child at Lincoln. We know that being a strong reader and quick with math facts is critical for lifetime academic success and opportunity. I encourage parents to be in contact with teachers and ask questions about your child's reading and math progress. Additionally, I would love to talk to you about opportunities to get involved in supporting Lincoln!

PIQE Parent Institute We will begin a new session of parent classes February 4th. This 8 week class helps parents with school topics and how to support your child through his/her education and graduation from high school. Our first class last spring was a HUGE success. Invitations to the Orientation Meeting will go home this week. Class will be on Thursday.
