Welcome to second grade! Room 8 is always an exciting place to be!
**Thank you for donating your dollars for our community of caring collection. We raised enough money
in room 8 to make 2 blankets to send to the solders in Afghanistan. Thank you!!!
**Parent-teacher conferences will be the week of November 16 -20. I look forward to discussing your
child's progress.
**The winter program will be held on December 3rd at 6:30 at WAMS. Students will be singing Pablo,
the Reindeer from Mexico and The Reindeer Pokey.
**Please remember to review your child's homework on a nightly basis. The reading log needs to be
signed every night.
**On Friday, look for your child's behavior report. Check out their colors for the week! Did they stay on
green? Way to go!!
**Grade reports come home on Monday. Please be sure to review your child's weekly grades and
homework. Grade reports need to be signed and returned on Tuesday.
**Fridays are Lone Star Spirit days! Students can earn spirit points for Room 8 by wearing their Lone
Star shirts or a plain blue shirt. Show your Eagle pride!
**For the months of November/December we will be focusing on the Community of Caring value
of family.
