Virtues of Character in Education Award
Lone Star School has done it again!! We have earned another award for our Community of Caring program. The Bonner Foundation associated with California State University, Fresno awarded Lone Star its "Virtues of Character in Education" Award this month at a ceremony in Fresno. This award is in recognition of the great character and value program at Lone Star which includes our "Caught with Character" tickets, character recognition, and community service projects. Most recently, Lone Star collected the most new and gently used books, in the district, to be donated to families who lack reading materials in their home..Way to go Eagles.
