Dear Room 5 Friends,
It's hard to believe the first trimester is coming to an end! I look forward to sharing your child's
progress with you during parent/teacher conferences Nov. 16th-20th. Conference appointment times
were sent home Monday, November 9th. Please confirm your appointment as soon as possible.
Conferences are scheduled for 20 minutes. I will make every effort to keep to our schedule so no one is
left waiting!
We are in the process of setting new AR goals for the second trimester. It is my hope that most
students are able to complete their AR quizzes independently. Many students have already met their
AR goals for the trimester. Great job, Room 5! Last day for points to count for the trimester is
November 13th. Friday, November 20th, will be AR reward day for all students who have met their AR
goals. In addition to our Friday library time, students and parents may take advantage of after school
hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (until 3:30) or before school hours on Tuesday and Thursday
(8:00). Students may also test during recess and lunch.
Please continue to remind your child to try his/her very best every day. We are trying very hard to listen
to and follow directions the first time they are given.
