I always enjoy meeting and dialoguing with parents, it really helps to put perspective on each student
and their learning.

7th
We continue working on Ch 4 L2. Students should be practicing vocabulary daily. Look for a vocab
and
chapter test by the end of this week.
8th
We will start the week with a Lab on acids and bases to solidify learning on the topic. Then we will
enter Ch 10. There is a fair amount of review in this chapter from 7th grade. We will review and
deepen concepts. Students should be prepared for a chapter test by the end of the week.
Students are expected to memorize the first 20 elements and challenged (and
rewarded) if they memorize the first 40! So far 2 students have joined the
40's club!! Congats Mallory and Ian!!
