Message from the Principal
“It’s one thing to say every child can learn, it’s another to make sure that they do.”
I would like to welcome all of our new families to Reagan Elementary and the 2008-2009 school year. Our Reagan families are about to embark on our second year together. The opening of Ronald Reagan Elementary was a memorable one. We, the Reagan Red Hawk staff, will continue to be committed to making this second year even more successful then the first. On behalf of the Reagan staff I would like to extend a gracious and warm welcome to all of our new Reagan families and a welcome back to our second year families. Dates to keep in mind are always located on the side bar of the website.
Please see our letter to families for the 2008-2009 title Journey Towards Improvement. This letter outlines what we are doing at Reagan to improve our school. See it located under the "forms" section.

Reagan loses a loved staff member
http://www.reaganrockinredhawkschoir.moonfruit.com/
We are saddened to report that one of our noon aides, Nishma Aguilar, passed away today due to injuries and complications she sustained from an automobile accident last Friday, April 17th.
Reagan is respecting a loved staff member, Nishma Aguilar, who passed away from an auto accident that occured on April 17, 2009.
Nishma joined Reagan this year and was immediately loved and respected by both staff and students. As a valuable part of our lunchtime crew, Nishma was known by students to be contagiously sweet, always fair, and never without a smile. It was not uncommon to see her at recess playing with the students, joining in a basketball game, or starting a hula hoop contest! Our Reagan community will miss Nishma greatly, and with a heavy heart extend our condolences to her family and friends.
