Tuesday December 1st., 2009 Dear Parents and Guardians, Do I need to say it? Oh no, not another busy month! It will be busy, but fun! The good news is that we are finally moved into our new home and it FEELS like home. I cooked my First Thanksgiving Turkey and feast in the new kitchen, put up my Christmas lights and planted my garden over the Thanksgiving break. Marlin fenced in the new chicken yard and Coop. It is a load off my mind to not have to worry about moving boxes furniture and heavy structures. My muscles are sore but my mind and heart are happy! Thanks for all your great help in the classroom while I was gone to Catalina. You are a wonderful group of parents. I had a great week in Catalina. The weather was absolutely beautiful. I was enjoying every day in the warm beautiful sun and cold ocean! I was truly in my element of diving in the ocean, taking epic kayak trips around the island and hiking up steep ridges. Catalina is our best field trip that we do at Charter! If you love the ocean, You will not want to miss going as a Chaperon with your child when they are in 7th or 8th grade! Take a look at this months Calendar. We have a Christmas program to get ready for. The students have their parts, lines and songs to memorize and we have only 10 days to get ready! We are also having our Holiday Party on Friday December 18th. Students are to bring in a wrapped gift of under $5.00 for their secret Santa. Have a great Holiday Season! Ho Ho Ho! Sincerely, Linda Mayer
