About The Teacher
I began teaching at Sierra Gardens in August of 2002 in a sixth grade classroom. Since I arrived on campus as a student teacher, I felt a strong sense of family due to the amount of love and compassion for all of the students, families, and staff. Every single year has been better than the last and I am not sure what is left to improve; but it will improve, undoubtedly, as it always does. In the classroom, I believe that all students are capable of success, but it must be obtained through different types of instruction. I also believe that this success for our students is only possible with 100% support at home - with homework, nutrition, and play (yes, you read that correctly)! I am always willing to answer any questions or concerns that parents may have. You can email or call me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
