Our mission is to aide the Principal, Teachers, Families and above all the Students in seeking anurturing, educational, safe and rewarding environment. It is our goal to fund raiser and provide the means in order to enrich the children at Sierra Gardens education through the arts:

Parent Teacher Club meetings are always the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm in the staff
decisions being made at the school. Parents are encouraged to become a member of the PTC for $10
per family. Being a member allows you a voice and a vote when decisions are being made about
fund raisers and activities that are supported at the school. Membership forms are available in the
office and on the website www.sierragardensptc.com . There will be a class party for the class who
has the most families join the PTC.

Sierra Gardens Elem School PTC is one of the Top 200 earning groups
nationally in the Safeway 10% Back to Schools Program. Out of 15,000
schools that participated, Safeway will contribute an additional $1000
BONUS to Sierra Gardens Elem School Ptc in addition to the $3937.57 you
have earned.

year, Sierra Gardens PTC raised over $1,000 just on recycled toner cartridges and old cell phones
donated to the school. So instead of throwing these items away, or waiting for an electronic
recycling event, do the environment and your school a favor. Your children can bring these items to
school and drop them in the collection bin. If you work for a company that uses cartridges,
ask them if they will donate their used cartridges to Sierra Gardens . For donations in large
quantities, pick-ups in the local area can be arranged by emailing dawnma@surewest.net.Thank you for

How would you like to have your child's field trips paid for without having to purchase $5.00
wrapping paper?
We have a program called eScrip, and it has the potential to raise enough money to cover the cost of
our children's school activities. There are many ways that this program works. Registering your
Safeway card, Debit card, Credit card, Macy's card, and they even have their own Visa card you can
register for. By signing your cards up, every time you shop a percentage comes back to Sierra
Gardens. There are schools that make $20,000 just from Safeway alone. There is an on-line Mall that
you can go to and the stores there will give a percentage back also. For example Oriental Trading
Company, which we use allot for school parties. You can have your family and friends sign there
cards up also to support our school.
