Next PTC meeting is May 13th at 5:30pm in the staff lounge.

Parent Teacher Club meetings are always the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 in the staff
lounge. We welcome any parents who would like to attend the meetings and have a connection with the
decisions being made at the school. Parents are encouraged to become a member of the PTC for $10
per family. Being a member allows you a voice and a vote when decisions are being made about
fundraisers and activities that are supported at the school. Membership forms are available in the
office and on the website www.sierragardensptc.com . There will be a class party for the class who
has the most families join the PTC.

Sierra Gardens Elem School PTC is one of the Top 200 earning groups
nationally in the Safeway 10% Back to Schools Program. Out of 15,000
schools that participated, Safeway will contribute an additional $1000
BONUS to Sierra Gardens Elem School PTC in addition to the $3937.57 you
have earned.

We are in need of a new President for the PTC for next year. If you or somebody you know wants to
get more involved with the school and with your kids come to the next PTC meeting. We also are in
need of a new treasurer for next school year too.

The T-SHIRT / SWEATSHIRT sales team is in need of a coordinator. A
volunteer is needed to help pass out the order forms 1 or 2 times per year
to each class, oversee the orders and deliveries. Most orders are done
online and mailed directly to the school ready to be given to the correct
teacher. Each order is delivered to the school packaged and labled with the

WANTED: Your used inkjet and laserjet toner cartridges help raise funds for
your school. Last year, Sierra Gardens PTC raised over $1,000 just on recycled toner
cartridges and old cell phones donated to the school. So instead of throwing these items away, or
waiting for an electronic recycling event, do the environment and your school a favor. Your
children can bring these items to school and drop them in the collection bin. If you work for a
company that uses printer cartridges,
ask them if they will donate their used cartridges to Sierra Gardens . For donations in large
quantities, pick-ups in the local area can be arranged by emailing
