Dear Parents and Students,
  We had a great week of productivity and a lovely day of celebrating on
Friday.  Thank you all for the lovely gifts and treats.  I am so enjoying
eating and sharing my edible goodies with friends and family.  I wish you all
peace, blessings, and safety during the holiday season. See you in 2010!

This Week In:

LANGUAGE ARTS: we did a lot of writing! 

MATH: We began mulitplying fractions, after a good, healthy dose of 
reviewing 
adding and subtracting them.

SOCIAL STUDIES: We have FINALLY finished unit 2 (we're skipping the test) 
and 
are going to begin Unit 3 next week.

SCIENCE: Students are with Mrs. Alameda learning about cells. They finished 
lesson one in the unit and learned all about the the insides of plant and 
animals cells.
