My name is Araceli Juarez and I have been teaching for over 17 years;
enjoying every minute of it. I began my teaching career as a teacher's
assistant right after high school and all throughout college. My first
teaching assignment was in the Los Angeles Unified School District. I am
proud to say that I have been teaching at Solorio since the very first day
the doors opened to children in this community in August of 2000. I taught
the morning session in room k1 for the first 6 years and now teach the pm
session. I love teaching here at Solorio. It's my home away from home.
My family includes my high school sweetheart Frank, my brilliant son Frank
III, and my beautiful twin daughters Lauren and Madeline. All my children
attended Solorio and are now at Heritate Intermediate and Etiwanda High
As a family, we enjoy spending time with each other. We like to take our
dogs Max and Mia (wire fox terriers) for walks to the park. On weekends, we
like to visit relatives and enjoy cooking delicious meals together. Our
favorite games are Yahtzee, Life, Sorry, and Texas Hold'em. Our family is a
fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Buffalo Bills, and San
Diego Chargers. However, my son Frank is a Miami Heat, and Philladelphia
Eagles fan. Don't worry, I still provide for the child eventhough he
betrayed his own family...lol.
I hope to provide an environment rich in experiences that will facilitate
every child's growth academically, socially, and emotionally while showing
them how to respect and care for each other.
