Twice each month the 1st grade will have fun making and tasting new recipes, hence the name Tasty Tuesdays.Through a variety of cooking experiences, the children will use skills in reading, following directions, math, writing, and most importantly tasting as they concoct a variety of gastronomic sensations!In conjunction with the cooking projects, each child will write and publish his or her own book of recipes that will be sent home at the end of the school year.All of this will be made possible with our very dedicated group of parent volunteers.
Below you will find a link to the list of dates for Tasty Tuesday, the names of those of you who have volunteered for that day, and the recipes being used for that date.The lead parent (first slot on the schedule) is responsible for contacting the other parents and delegating who is to bring which supplies to complete the recipe.Tasty Tuesdays begin at 1:45 P.M.
