Jan. 5, Tues. night: Study for vocabulary and questions quiz on Ch. 15
& 16 of "The Egypt Game."
Jan. 6, Wed. night: Read Chapters 17, 18, 19 in "The Egypt Game."
Jan. 7, Thurs. night: Do handout "A Lost Friend."

Jan. 4, Mon. night: Fill in the story map with complete sentences. If
possible, please do this assignment using a computer. "The Smallest
Dragonboy" Story Map: Title, Author, Point of View, Perspective, Tense,
Time, Main Characters (protaganist, antagonist), Supporting Characters
(Lessa, Mende, K'last), Conflict (main conflict, internal conflict, external
conflict), Rising Action, Climax (highpoint), Falling Action, Resolution
(how the conflict was solved), Theme (a universal truth, an underlying
meaning of the story, a significant statement the story is making about
society, human nature, or the human condition.

been corrected by someone in authority? Write 3 paragraphs about that
incident/experience.
