Last Thursday, our class and Adopted Grandparents enjoyed our Advent Play and
goodies. Thank you to all the parents for their generosity in providing the
goodies for the reception.

PROGRAM...
Thursday, December 17th at 7:00 p.m. All students must report to Room 3 by
6:30 p.m. Do not send your child to the church.
Students need to wear "winter clothes" i.e., coat, gloves, scarf, hat, etc.
No Jeans allowed.
CURSIVE...
Beginning January 4th upon our return from Christmas break we will be writing
all our assignments in cursive writing.
CLASS CHRISTMAS PARTY...
Friday, December 18th 11:00-12:00 we will have our Christmas Class Party.
Parents who are helping must have complied with the Shield the Vulnerable
requirements and have their certificate on file in the school office.

Monday, Jan. 4th - 8:00 Classes resume
Time allotted for third grade homework is 60 minutes. Your child will have
homework Monday-Thursday each week. A weekly newsletter will be sent home
each Monday specifying each night’s assignments for that week. Each night’s
assignment is to be returned the next day. All assignments and any notices
will be coming home in a “GO HOME FOLDER” each night.
ASSIGNMENTS...
No late assignments are accepted. If a student is absent due to illness
he/she will receive the same number of days absent to complete any missing
assignments.
