BOOK REPORT...
The theme for the month of November book report is Biography. Your child has
received an instruction sheet which contains the details that need to be
included on the report. Students will be given their date for their
presentation. The instruction sheet and presentation dates are posted on my
website for future reference.
FIELD TRIP...
Chaperones have been contacted. More information will be sent home as the day
approaches.
***Note- the Ca Academy of Science only allows 1 chaperone per 8 students.
Please be advised that the teacher and the Instructional Aid and 5 parents
will be allowed on this trip. Also there are future field trips which will
allow me to pick others not included on this trip. I ask for your patience and
understanding in this matter. Thank you to all who volunteered.
THANKSGIVING DRIVE...
The third grade class needs to bring Stuffing Mix for the St. Vincent DePaul
Thanksgiving Drive.

Nov. 11 Prayer Service "Veterans' Day" 3rd grade is in charge
Nov. 16 Field Trip to California Academy of Science.
Nov. 18 End of 1st Trimester
Nov. 24 Report cards go home
Nov. 25-27 Thanksgiving vacations
Time allotted for third grade homework is 60 minutes. Your child will have
homework Monday-Thursday each week. A weekly newsletter will be sent home
each Monday specifying each night’s assignments for that week. Each night’s
assignment is to be returned the next day. All assignments and any notices
will be coming home in a “GO HOME FOLDER” each night.
ASSIGNMENTS...
No late assignments are accepted. If a student is absent due to illness
he/she will receive the same number of days absent to complete any missing
assignments.
