To honor our many Saints, students received a name of a Saint to research and to finish a creative project. Students will receive a paper cutout to decorate. For decorating the pattern, you can use any material: construction paper, fabric, crayons. Have the saint hold something in one hand that represents that saint. Many saints are patrons of occupations they had on earth, St. Thomas More, is a patron saint of lawyers, Saint Isidore of farmers, Saint Joan of Arc of people in the military, Saint John Vianney of parish priests, Saint Frances Cabrini of hospital administrators, Saint Vincent de Paul of those who work with the poor, Saint Matthew of bankers, Saint Joseph of carpenters, Saint Peter and Saint Andrew of those who fish for a living, Saint Luke of physicians. It is fun to research saints on the internet. Try it!
