Homework

Kindergarten homework has 3 components.
1. Students have a daily homework assignment which is sent home in their
folder every day Monday through Thursday. Homework is not given on the
weekend or holidays.
2. Students have an assigned topic each week for "Sharing". They bring
something that fits the topic on their assigned sharing day. (See the list
below)
3. Students should read (or be read to) every night for 15 minutes.

SHARING SCHEDULE:
Tuesdays; Laura, Lauryn, Lia, Aidan
Wednesdays: Eduardo, Ethan, Evan, Haylee
Thursdays: Jaivon, Jamie, Jared, Bernard, Robert
Fridays: Maria, Mary, Meg, Caitlyn, Ceanna

KINDERGARTEN BOOK REPORT
During the second half of the school year, some of our sharing assignments
will be Book Reports.

On the week that the book report is due, your child should bring their book
to school and be ready to talk about it on their assigned sharing day.

They should practice at home and be able to
•	Tell the title of the book
•	Tell their favorite part
•	Show their favorite page (have a bookmark or post it note on the
page to help find it quickly)

As the year progresses, we will introduce a form where your child can begin
to write the information about their book.
