After getting my Bachelor's degree in 1972, and my California teaching
credential in 1973 from Cal State University Long Beach, I began teaching.
I taught for 9 years at Catholic schools in Long Beach before opening the
first Kindergarten at St. Irenaeus Parish School in 1982. All of my teaching
experience has been in Kindergarten and First Grade. I enjoy being part of
the faith community at St. I, and watching our students grow to become
active, faith-filled members of the parish and community.
It is my primary mission to provide students with a faith-filled, loving and
supportive environment, where they can grow spiritually, academically,
physically, emotionally, and socially. It is also my mission to provide a
quality academic Kindergarten program where each child can build upon the
skills and knowledge that they already possess.
