After getting my Bachelor's degree and credential in 1973 from Cal
State University Long Beach, I began teaching. I taught for 9
years in Long Beach before opening the first Kindergarten at St. Irenaeus
Parish School in 1982. All of my teaching experience has been in
Kindergarten and first grade. I enjoy being part of the faith community and
watching our students grow to become active, faith-filled members of our
parish and community.
It is my primary mission to provide students with a faith-filled, loving and
supportive environment, where they can grow spiritually, academically,
physically, emotionally, and socially. It is also my mission to provide a
quality academic Kindergarten program where each child can build upon the
skills and knowledge that they already possess.
