Scholastic Book Club

 

Dear Parents,

The SJC 5^th grade has the opportunity to earn bonus points from each order placed with the Scholastic Book Club. These bonus points will allow us to continually purchase new books for our class library.

            Throughout the school year I will send home book club catalogs for you and your student to review. You may also browse the catalogs online.

            This year we hope to streamline our participation in the book club program by asking parents to place their orders directly through Scholastic’s website. This order method will provide parents more payment options than in the past.

NEXT CLASS ORDER DATE: OCTOBER 16, 2009

Here’s how it works:

1.       Go to Parent Login/Scholastic Book Club

-          CLASS USER NAME: sjc5thgrade

-          PASSWORD: jaguars

2.       Browse the titles with your student and place an order. Payment can be made with a credit/debit card.

3.       Scholastic will automatically inform Mrs. Moss that you’ve placed an order. There’s no need to send in any money to school.

4.       The day after the order due date, Mrs. Moss will authorize Scholastic to proceed with the entire class order. The order will be delivered within 2-3 weeks direct to our classroom.
