Mission San Juan Bautista

We had a wonderful day and learned
a lot.

And...we all had a ton of fun!

We learned about how many, many
Native American were buried in this
cemetery in unmarked graves.

The mission was beautiful!

We had a ton of fun with our
friends.

The padres and Native Americans ate
chickens like the ones in these pens.

These are called California
banknotes because they are what the
missions traded to get the goods
that they couldn't make themselves.

This beehive oven is what they used
to bake their food.
