About The Teachers

Mrs. Schwoob-"I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I received my Bachelors
Degree in 1996 from San Diego State University and completed my Teaching
Credential preparation at Dominican University in San Rafael in 2000. In 2005
I completed my Master’s Degree specializing in
Education-Curriculum Development at Dominican University. This is my 7th year
teaching in the Catholic Schools and I love it! I am so fortunate to be a
part of St. Joseph of Cupertino. This is an amazing school that I like to
call a "home". I am honored to be one of the Kindergarten teachers at St.
Joseph's. I am looking forward to many years ahead teaching Kindergarten."

Mrs. Shiu- "My life long passion has been to teach. In 1991 I earned my
undergrad and teaching credential from San Francisco State University. Since
then, I have been blessed with a very fulfilling career starting in the San
Francisco Unified School District where I taught Kindergarten and managed the
school's K-5 technology program. I feel extremely fortunate to be here at St.
Joseph of Cupertino, where we have more than just a great school...we have a
loving and caring community. I simply love being here and having the
opportunity to inspire your children!"

Mrs. Caropepe- "St. Joseph of Cupertino is like a second home to me. I grew up
in the Parish. My two daughters are both graduates of SJC. I received my AA
degree from De Anza College in 1982. I worked for AT&T for many years, before
becoming a stay at home mom. When my youngest daughter started kindergarten in
1995 it was time to go back to work.

I began working as the kindergarten aide in the mornings at Queen of Apostles
School and working as the Day Care Director here at SJC in the afternoons.

I have been the kindergarten aide at SJC since 1996. I have worked with some
of the finest teachers and learned so much from them. This has always been the
best place for both my children and me. It is an honor and pleasure to be with
your children at a very important time in their lives."

Mission For The Class

We will learn to respect and care for one another and to develop
friendships, both in our class and our school community. We will also work on
our listening skills, as well as learning to follow directions in a positive
and safe environment.
Best of all,
we will learn so much while having lots of fun!
