What exactly is Inclusion?

The strict definition of inclusion is;  the program and staff designated to 
assist the special needs student to remain as "fully included" as possible 
in the regular classroom activities, or to remain in the least restrictive 
or most regular environment possible.

What does the Inclusion Program staff do at St. Juliana?

We are lucky at St. Juliana, in addition to helping those students with 
special needs we can also assist other students needs; including, mild to 
moderate tutoring, make-up testing due to absence, and other mild to 
moderate academic support.  Please contact your child's teacher, Mrs. 
Reeder or Mrs.Flynn, directly if you have any questions.

Am I able to access this program for my child, myself?

Any parent at St. Juliana's may consult with Mrs. Flynn or Mrs. Reeder regarding their child.   If you have 
a significant concern, please talk to your child's classroom teacher to have your child screened or 
tested.
