What is the auction?

Our annual auction is our major fundraising event. It is a catered dinner for
adults, with drinks, dinner, dessert, and dancing. Fun and
interesting raffles are also going on throughout the evening.

Why must I donate at least a $50.00 item to the donation?

Your donations are what make the auction a success. We want quality items
that will sell for the price or more for the item. Always include your receipt
to get full credit for your donation.

Can a business make a donation on my behalf?

You can solicit donations from anyone, any business. We provide our non
profit number to the business for their taxes. The donation you get goes
toward your $50.00 donation and anything above that applies to your $300.00
yearly donation.

Can a service be donated?

A service can be donated. Simply turn in a discrption of the service and
what business will be performing that service along with a receipt or letter
stating the cost.

tickets early.

Can I go in on an item with other people?

Yes. Many of the live auction items are for a number of people. Pooling your
money together to purchase one item is acceptable. You will each receive
credit for your personal investment in the item at the time of checkout.

Does it take long to check out and get my items?

Our check out system goes very smoothly. You simply give the cashier your
bid number, they will collect all the bids you won, total it up and give you
a receipt. After your payment is collected you take it to a runner who will
gather up your winnings.

Do I have to volunteer?

All parents must volunteer a minimum of 5 hours toward the auction or class
event. The time can be divided between the two.

What happens if I don't give a donation?

You will be assessed $100.00 of which only half will be credited toward your
