Grade 3 Supply List 2008-2009

2 boxes (at least12 ct.) of sharpened #2 pencils (no mechanical
pencils). Pencils will be collected and shared with the whole class.
1 small personal pencil sharpener (no batteries)
1 pink eraser
1 package of pencil-top erasers
4 red pens (ball-point, not gel)
1 pkg. colored pencils (12 ct.)
1 pkg. crayons (24 ct.)
1 pkg. colored thin-tip markers (8 ct.)
1 yellow highlighter
1 large, solid glue stick
1 pair of scissors (small, rounded tip)
1 ruler (inch and cm markings)
2 rolls of clear contact paper (keep at home for covering workbooks)
5 fabric book covers � jumbo size
1 large box of Kleenex (200-300 count)
1 roll of paper towels
8 large paper grocery bags
1 large container of unscented hand wipes
1 large container of disinfectant wipes (like Clorox wipes)
1 large bottle (pump) of hand sanitizer (with aloe, please)
NOTE:
A pencil pouch will be provided for each student. Please do not send a
pencil box.

Rolling backpacks are recommended for Grade 3. It should be no larger
than a regular backpack and must have a retractable handle.

Please note for ALL GRADES:
1. Copybooks and workbooks need to be covered with clear contact paper.
2. Hardback textbooks are to be covered all year long.
3. Do not cover hardback textbooks with contact paper.
4. Permanent markers, Whiteout, and staplers are not permitted.
5. Please label all books and supplies with the child�s name and room
number.
