Wednesday Home Packet: On Wednesdays I will pass out a new Home Packet for each family. Inside, there will be corrected work and tests taken. I am asking that all tests be signed by you and returned to school the next day (inside packet). These tests will have a star sticker on them. If these are returned on Thursday, I will add 5 points to each test (if your child received a 100% already, I can't give "extra" points).
All grades will be on TeacherEase, but I think it's important for you to review tests and see the work that's being done and feedback given.
Each school night, students should be reading 20 minutes as part of their homework. Students copy down their homework assignments each morning in class and will also write down their own "log". This will just have a date, title of book, and pages read. I ask that you simply initial this each night. I will check these each morning.This
lets me know you are aware of the assignments and lets your child know
that you are involved with the learning process, too.
Students will have Book Reports each quarter. In the past, I have assigned them monthly, but I am currently re-thinking this process. I will let you know by Back to School Night:)
