Dear Parents, Caregivers, and Students of Ms. Kim's Homeroom & Pre-Algebra
Classes,

We are moving along into the 3rd and final trimester of this year. This is the
home stretch! At this point in the year, the students KNOW what is expected of
them and I KNOW they can rise to those expectations and exceed them! I had 9
students last trimester who had NO missing assignments in both my English and
science classes. That is an awesome feat! But it's also something I know ALL
my students can achieve.

In preparation for 7th grade next year, where many teachers do NOT accept late
work (absent work is a different issue), I will NOT be accepting late work
after spring break. Starting April 23, I expect students to get their work
done and turned in on time. There is a reduced homework load during the state
testing period, so there really isn't any excuse to get any work that is
assigned, done! Please help me in preparing them for next year by reminding
them to put their work in their binders/folders the night before.
