California State Standards for 8th Grade Science Every single 8th Grade student should know these Science standards before graduating middle school.
The 8th Grade standards prepare you for High School Science. * Please Note - High School Graduation requirements have changed for LAUSD. All current 8th Grade students will now be required to pass 2 D Level Science Lab Classes in order to graduate from high school. (Biology and either Physics or Chemistry). Many Colleges will require AT LEAST 3 D Level Science Lab Classes from high school. Therefore, if you put in some effort now to learn the material, you won't have to struggle to understand it in high school. Check out the Standards for high school Physics
