About The Teacher

Welcome To Sycamore Canyon Middle School.  This September will be the start 
of my 12th year teaching.  I have taught several different grade levels. 
While I have spent many of my teaching years in 6th grade, I am excited to 
take on this new challenge of teaching 7th grade.  There are many excited 
things planned for this upcoming school year. You will find time will not be 
wasted as we jump right into our Medieval simulation. 
  
I am a local from the Conejo Valley. I was born and raised here with the 
exception of my college years.  I have my Masters in Educational 
Adminstration from California Lutheran. Aside from living in Gunnison, 
Colorado for my first year and a half of college,  I completed my 
undergraduate at Chico State.  I love Northern California, it is my home 
away from home, as I spend my summers in our family cabin at Lake Tahoe.  
When I am not working I take advantage of traveling as much as possible and 
enjoy spending time with my husband and beautiful daughter.
