I announced there will be a QUIZ on MONDAY on Ch#5 Sections 1 & 2 as well as information about symbolism on the dollar bill (worksheet from last Thursday). Students then worked in their unit groups on rewriting their essays. I handed out follow-up questions to each unit for discussion. Also, we viewed a History Channel profile on Washington and went on to discuss Alexander Hamilton's contribution to establishing the First National Bank of the United States.
