Tuesday, September 1, 2009

Write an original sentence for EACH of the 16 vocabulary words from the first
two short stories we have read. The sentences must be written in a way that
shows you understand the meaning of each word. Sentences that are too vague
or general will not be acceptable. (For example: "It is palpable." This
sentence gives no context clues regarding the meaning of the vocabulary word.)
Draw and label two plot diagrams--one for each of the two short stories we
have read--"The Most Dangerous Game" and "The Cask of Amontillado." Label
the six key points of the plot diagram and fill in specific events or
descriptions that apply for each story.
