For your test, you will need to:

 

1) Know the days of the week, including their correct spelling. Remember that the days of the week are not capitalized in Spanish unless the day is the first word in a sentence.

2) Know the months of the year, including their spelling. Remember that the months are not capitalized in Spanish unless the month is the first word in a sentence.

3) Know how to say and spell the numbers from 0 through 31 in Spanish.

4) Remember how to say +, -, x, and ÷ in Spanish (más, menos, por, entre)

5) Know the name of the letters (the alphabet) in Spanish, and be able to write the word being spelled out for you. This part will be done as a listening exercise. In other words, I will be spelling out some words, and you will write out the word that I’m spelling out.

6) Be able to complete a conversation with words or expressions that make sense, just like we did on the warm-up today (you can see the warm-up on “Tarea de español 1”).

7) Be able to write a short letter about yourself where you will be using a greeting, a goodbye, and give some information about you (name, your age, when your birthday is, where you are from, present day and date)
