I am always on the look out for native Spanish speakers who would be willing to come in and talk to my classes about their country of origin.  In past years, we have heard from friends, schoolmates, aunts and uncles, and mothers and fathers, speak about life in México, Spain, Costa Rica, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, and Argentina.  It is an excellent way for students to learn first-hand about other countries and cultures, as well as to hear different vocabulary and accents in Spanish.  These visits are generally the students' favorite activity of the whole year.

I would also like to find native Spanish speakers in our community who would be willing to come in to speak about their profession and/or industry or field (for example, music, film, art, law, university, transportation, food, etc...)  Please let me know if you have any contacts or ideas.
