Welcome to the 2011/12 school year at Timber Point Elementary. The faculty and I are looking forward to seeing all our returning students and welcoming our new faces to our Timber Point family this year. We work hard to promote a safe, positive climate meeting the needs for all students to be successful. This year we will utilize flexible grouping for literacy and math, the Positive Action Program, a Family Village System, Caught Being Good rewards and Safe School Ambassadors to promote our healthy campus climate. Thanks to parent donations last year we were able to fund Music and Art docents on the campus benefiting all students. We appreciate all the hard work of all our many volunteers, room parents and PTA members to help make our school what it is today. Please join our PTA this year and help us to continue our tradition of parents and teachers partnering for student success. I look forward to another great year of building success one student at time
