Dec. 11: Test on the remainder of the Irregular Verbs: Ride -- Write on page
122 of your Verbs packet. Also complete Part 1 of the "Verb Usage" worksheet
by correctly writing each of the sentences on separate paper.
Dec. 10: Test on Unit 7 Vocabulary words; Also know the Irregular verbs in
your packet: Begin - Lie. Know how to spell these Present, Past, and Past
Participle verbs and to be able to use these verbs in sentences.
Dec. 9: Complete Practice 5 in your Verbs' packet and write sentences for the
first 18 "Irregular Verbs."
Dec. 8: Complete Practices 3 and 4 in your Verbs' packet.
Dec. 7: Complete pages 56-57 for the Unit 7 Vocabulary words. Write out the
complete sentences!
Dec. 2: Write out the sentences for Activity 2 from the "Verbs" packet.
Dec. 1: Write 2 quotes for Victor and the Creature showing both their good and
bad sides. Use S.O.S. analysis format with an emotion word and "Said is Dead"
verb. Keep verbs in the present tense.
Nov. 25: In your Frankenstein book find six quotes for both Victor and
the Creature to represent their positive and negative emotions, decisions, and
consequences for their choices/actions. Don't forget page numbers! : ) (For
the in-class writing exam, you can bring in 10 quotes for each of the
characters to use as your Concrete Details in your Power Paragraphs).
Nov. 24: Complete reading Frankenstein and take annotations of key
events and people.

punctuation for the two Quotation handouts.

for Chapter 7 and write them down on the Dialectical Journal (D.J.) worksheet;
3) Paraphrase in your own words the plot for Chapter 7 on the backside of the

Oct. 28: Complete the Vocab terms' packet for Units 1-5. Also write each of

section of your Punctuation Packet. Also answer the chapter questions for
Chapter 5 and 6 in Frankenstein.

Plot Diagram for Chapters 4, 5, and 6.

pages 28-33.
Oct. 21: Correctly write out each of the Capitalization answers/sentences
missed on the test.
Oct. 16: Annotate Chapter 5 of Frankenstein. Include specific details
and write several key quotes for this chapter as part of your notes.

Oct. 14: Write a Power Paragraph for both Chapter 2
(upbeat/optimistic/productive tone) and Chapter 3 (shocked/scared/anxious
tone) regarding Frankenstein's attitude and outlook toward his "creation." Use
quotes as your C.D.'s (8 sentences per paragraph). : )

your Puncutation packet. Also write the rule numbers that apply to each of
your changes.
Sep. 28: Answer the "Letters" questions and "Chapter 1" questions for Frankenstein
on pages 93-94. Please write in complete sentences.
Sep. 25: Vocab test on Chapters 1 & 2 from your Vocab book. Also know the
Power Paragraph Formula. : )

were difficult for you when you first came to the United States?

the characters' thoughts, actions, feelings, and details about the setting, as
well as any conflicts that are introduced.

with each homophone!
Sep. 18: Homophones: Allowed/Aloud - Cent/Scent ~ Please write each homophone
3x each and write a sentence using each homophone. Underline each homophone in

Sep. 17: Write in the 1st person as Frankenstein covering the material from
pages 3-7. ELD 3: Please write 25 sentences; ELD 2: Please write 20 sentences.
Sep. 16: Write bullet notes for pages vii - x in Frankenstein. Then
write in the 1st person as Mary Shelley and discuss these bullets from your
1st person POV.

using Bold lettering and attach a current picture of yourself. Write out your
goals (3 for the present and 3 for the future) AND either draw or import a
symbol that is representative of you and/or your interests on a separate sheet
of paper. Be sure to bring Binders with designated Tabs and requested
