Dec. 11: Write the definition for each of the 7 pairs of Synonyms in column 1
of your Synonym worksheet. Learn the spelling of the synonym pairs for a test.
Dec. 10: Complete pages 95-105 in your Theme book. Write out the
questions and answers.
Dec. 9: Complete the reading comprehension questions started in class in the That's
Life workbook: 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36.
Dec. 2: Write sentences with the first two columns of Synonyms on the
worksheet. Also write the definition for each Synonym. Learn the spelling of
the synonym pairs for a test.
Nov. 24: Complete the Assessments for Vocabulary and Grammar in your Visions
Intro book.
Nov. 20: Complete pages 52-55 on Nouns in your Grammar book.
Nov. 18: Test on definitions for Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Pronouns; and test
on Contractions and "To Be" verbs. Also complete Units 25, 26, and 27 in your
Spelling book.
Nov. 17: Write sentences for the Contractions and Plural Nouns on pages 7, 9,
and 11 in your Word workbook.
Nov. 12: Pages 60-75 in your Theme book. Write the questions and the
answers.
Nov. 9: Please write the spelling words for Units 1-20 two times each and copy
down the sentence shown with each word in your Spelling Book. Test on
these words.
Nov. 5: Easy True Stories: Read # 2 and # 3 and complete Exercises 3,
4, and 5 in each story and write a 3 sentence summary about the main ideas of
each story.
Nov. 4: Finish Spelling #18-23
Nov. 3: Write each of the Antonyms and Synonyms in a sentence. Study the
Antonyms and Synonyms for a test.
Oct. 29: Complete Spelling Units 13-18. Write complete answers for each
of the Exercises!
Oct. 27: Test on spelling words in Spelling Book: Units 7-11. Be able
to write a sentence with each of the words! Also a test on capitalization, end
marks, plurals of nouns, and "to be" verbs.
Oct. 26: Spelling book, Chapters 9 and 10.
Oct. 23: Spelling book, Chapter 8.
Oct. 22: Theme book: Continue with pages begun in class: 49-70.
Oct. 21: Complete prior Homework due 10/20 and write out the vocabulary words
missed 5x each and the sentences missed 5x each.
Oct. 20: Visions Basic workbook: Pages 30, 34, 39, and 47 AND High
Points: Pages 35, 37, 42, 51, and 52.

Sep. 29: Alphabet packet pages 1-10.
Sep. 28: Write out the Exercises for Spelling ~ Chapters 1-5. Know the
spelling of each word and how to use the words in a sentence.
Sep. 25: Study Vocab words on pages 13 & 27 for a test. Also be able to write
each word in a sentence.
Sep. 17: Visions: Basic, Chapter B: Write each of the vocab words on
page 27 3x each and also write them in a sentence. Also finish the Theme
work through to page 33.
Sep. 16: Visions Basic: Write one sentence with each of the vocab words
on page 13. ALSO complete pages 16-29 in the Theme book. Write all
questions and answers.
Sep. 15: Spelling book: Units 3 & 4
Sep. 14: Units 4 & 5 in Very Easy
Sep. 11: Standards book: 26, 28, 30, 31, 32 and Very Easy book:
Lesson 3 ~ pages 13, 17-18
Sep. 9: Write out the Vocab words for Unit A in Visions Basic 10x each
and be ready for a test. Also know how to spell the words in Lesson 1 in the Spelling
book.
