CST Practice Test Questions/Links & Resources
Below are links that you can use to help your child prepare for the CST
(California Standards Test) this month. Our testing begins one week after
Spring Break; the week of April 27 and May 8.
Included are additional links for writing resources.

CST/STAR Test Sample Questions & Resources
1.)Here are Test Sample Questions for all grades 2-12. Students in 4th
grade are testing in English-Language Arts and Mathematics. In 5th grade
students will also be tested on what they learned in 4th grade science.

2.)This Math Dictionary is a good place to look up or review math
vocabulary. Each word has an interactive piece to increase
understanding of the word.

3.) Writing Prompts is a great way to encourage your child to write. Each
picture prompt will help give your child ideas about a topic they can write
about. The prompts can be printed out and included with the child's
writing. Providing a notebook to serve as a Writing Journal is a great way
to foster the love of writing.

4.) Grammar Gorillas is a fun game for your child to practice Language
Arts/Grammar. The link comes from FunBrain.com which is a great site for
all types of educational games.
