November 3, 2009 Hello everyone: Thank you to all the wonderful parents who helped out on the Pt. Reyes trip. The kids had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect! And I hope they told you about all the wonderful things we did and saw, including the family of raccoons that raided our camp site on Thursday night! They need to bring in their notes from the camping trip. Some have forgotten them. Please remind them. We are finishing up our auction item which is a classroom cookbook. Some student only turned in one family recipe, some haven’t turned in any! If you have received an e-mail from me, please have your child bring or e-mail something to me by tomorrow morning….I have to get this book to the printers by tomorrow afternoon. Conference week is November 16th through the 20th. I have attached the conference schedule that I have so far. If you don’t see your child’s name, I haven’t heard from you. Please also have your child attend this conference. I have them do the Spring one, so this is good practice for them to see how a conference goes. If you want a “private” conference without your child, I can schedule one of those also. Finally, there is no school this Friday (November 6th) or next Wednesday (November 11th). Thanksgiving break is November 23rd through the 27th. We are also having a Native American in School Field Trip next Tuesday, November 10th. I will have more information about this……later.
