I have been teaching here in Lompoc since the 2000 school year. I am
starting my fourth year at VMS, and I taught at Lompoc High for four years
prior to that. We moved here from New Mexico where I taught middle school
for six years. I have taught in Idaho as well. Since moving to California,
I have been a resource specialist. In New Mexico I was a resource teacher
in a full inclusion program. In that program I was the general education
math teacher for two periods a day, and the general education English
teacher for three periods a day with an additional class of service
learning.
For all students to develop a joy of learning and a sense of self
determination.
