requirements are now aligned as follows. Minimum college acceptable grade is
C.
English.................4 years
World History...........1 year
U.S. History............1 year
Math....................3 years (4 years recommended)
(Minimum Algebra 1B, Geometry and Algebra 2)
Foreign Language........2 years (3 years recommended for UC)
Must be the SAME foreign language)
Laboratory Science......2 years (3 years recommended for UC)
(For UC, must include Biology and Chemistry or Physics)
Visual/Performing Art...1 year (Must be in same year-long subject)
Academic Electives......1 year (VHS students receive from extra year of
World History or going over the requirement in any of the above areas)
CSU-SAT Reasoning Test or ACT
UC-SAT Reasoning Test or ACT with writing and 2 SAT Subject Tests in
different subject areas
