This is my eighth year at Wagon Wheel and I am really happy to be here.
I grew up in Mission Viejo and graduated from MVHS. I went to the
University of Southern California and majored in Communication. (Go
Trojans!) After graduating I worked for WCCO News and then on a talk
show. While in Minneapolis I received my Masters of Arts in Education
from the University of St. Thomas.
I later moved to Dallas, Texas and worked as a fourth grade teacher. After 5 years in Dallas I became
a principal of a private school that specialized in teaching children with
ADHD.
I moved back to Mission Viejo in 2002. I now own a condo on Lake Mission Viejo and I enjoy having
family and friends over for boat rides. Last year I bought a 1938 Spanish style home in Palm Springs
and I have spent many weekends since fixing the place up.
I feel very fortunate to be working with such a
dedicted staff and enthusiastic parents. I love teaching and I truly
enjoy coming to work each day. I feel very really fortunate!
To create a safe learning environment in which all students feel
respected and valued. Students will be challenged and encouraged to
strive to meet their true potential. Self-directed and independent skills
will be emphasized. A high priority will be placed upon teamwork.
Areas such as perseverance, compassion, gratitude, honesty, and
responsiblity will be taught throughout the day.
