I would like to introduce my philosophies and myself. My name is Sheri
Leiken. This will be my 19th year teaching at Weathersfield. I have 3 boys
of my own: one who graduated from University of Washington, one in Arizona,
and one at Oaks Christian. I love The
Lakers,(my son's team and the pro-team) seeing our
ocean,traveling,hiking,especially cycling, along with a good
cup of coffee and a yummy, crunchy, chocolate chip cookie or brownie! (Maybe
not all at the same time)You will see me every weekend, riding the backroads
of Conejo Valley or off on some long distance bike ride. I love teaching,
and love adding new ideas and physical additions such as yoga to my class.
Weathersfield and I strongly support the theory: High Expectations = High
Achievement. My goal this year is to help raise your children’s self-esteem
by helping them reach their full potential. This will be accomplished
through experiencing success and responsibility. It is also a sincere goal
of mine to instill a love of learning in your child. I will do my best to
create enjoyable learning experiences and positive successes for my
students.
