| Funding Weibel’s technology program without costing you a cent
What is SCRIP?
SCRIP is a program that provides funds to Weibel, at NO ADDITIONAL COST to
you. You simply purchase gift certificates/cards (“paper SCRIP”) for
participating merchants and use them when you do your regular shopping; AND/OR
register your credit card(s) at EScrip and/or SchoolPop and patronize
participating merchants. You can shop many merchants at the store and/or
on-line. The merchant provides Weibel with a percentage of the purchase
amount to help fund school programs.
Did you know:
• The Weibel PTO Technology fund provided $8,736.11 to maintain & upgrade
equipment including desktops, printers, a projector and software for the
Computer lab (2004-2005).
• The PTO technology account, generated a total income of $9486.17 last
year(2005-2006).
• You, the Weibel parents, contribute to the technology account WITHOUT taking
money out of your own pocket!
• WE NEED YOU to participate this year, to help make it the best year ever, so
our children can benefit even more!
Here is how – By participating in the PTO SCRIP program in the following ways,
you can fund Weibel’s technology program without costing you a cent:
· purchase gift certificates (paper SCRIP) from school and make your
regular purchases
· designate Weibel as your school of choice for your grocery store shopping
cards
· visit EScrip and register your credit card(s) or apply for an eScrip Visa
Platinum card so ALL your purchases earn funds for Weibel.
· visit SchoolPop and register your credit card(s) and shop at
participating merchants on-line, via the site, or at their store locations
using your registered credit card.
· Shop Target using your Target REDCard, registered to Weibel (School # 31250)
The more you shop, the more funds we earn for technology at Weibel!
You can pick up your SCRIP orders at the SCRIP table in front of the Multi-Use
Room. The SCRIP table is open during the following hours:
THURSDAYS 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm
FRIDAYS 8:15 am - 8:45 am
