The
  Wildcat Run is the PTO’s annual main fundraiser event, where Weibel students
  run and/or walk around the school track for thirty minutes.  Before the event, the students are asked to
  obtain sponsors for their runs, and the amount they raise all goes to the PTO
  to fund various projects.  Wildcat Run
  has been a tradition in Weibel, and it is a great community event.  
  
 
  
This
  year, the Weibel PTO’s Wildcat Run will focus less on individual achievement
  and more on team spirit.  Though there
  will still be prizes for individuals for running and money raised, more
  recognition will be made for classroom totals for laps run and money
  raised.  The PTO hopes that with this
  change of focus will promote a greater emphasize on classroom teamwork and
  spirit.

80%
  of what PTO spent last year was from funds raised during the Wildcat Run. The
  money was used on computers, classroom materials, school copiers, science
  supplies, etc (please click on “Where Are Your PTO Donations Going” for more
  information). PTO funds are the way for Weibel families and friends to
  contribute to enrichment of Weibel’s education programs, so please
  participate and contribute generously. 
  
Our goal for this year is $65,000. In order to
  meet this goal, we encourage each child to raise $85 or more.
  
 
  
On the Run Day itself, the children should wear a white T–shirt.  It can have a pattern on it, as long as the
  printing is not on the back or the shoulder areas. The shirt will be stamped
  each time the child passes a lap marker, so choose one that does not need to
  be worn again!  The children should
  also wear comfortable shoes and have long hair tied back.  We supply them with plenty of water during
